Takk Leo Ajkic, Takk for din åpenhet

Jeg var i byen her om dagen, denne dagen var som alle andre. Biler suste rundt meg, folk sprang mellom butikker å gate hjørner, skikket ned i mobilen og registrerte ikke at det var folk rundt seg.

Tid er noe vi ofte snakker om i dagens samfunn og noe som vi unngår fordi at vi ”ikke” har tid til overs, denne dagen hadde jeg det ikke travelt men tid til å se meg om å legge merke til omgivelsene rundt meg.

Jeg la merke til noe jeg burde lagt merke til oftere, noe jeg ser hver dag og noe som burde opptatt meg enda mer.

Bilen er parkert, det første som møter meg utenfor parkeringshuset er en tigger iført stor ullgenser, lue og slitte vanter. Hvor han var fra vet jeg ikke, men jeg la merke til han. Noen sekunder etterpå stopper det en sort jaguar framfor meg, ut kommer ei velkledd Stavanger frue med store øredobber iført en stor mørkeblå Poncho.

Hvis ordet kontrast forskjell kommer opp i hode ditt nå, så forstår jeg det, det er helt greit.

Tenker og håper at dette er en av de mange skildringene som mange av oss gjør når vi er ute å går.

Det tikker inn en melding på mobilen min, det er en venn av meg som har skrevet.

Det engasjerer meg når jeg ser at et sykkelhjul kan bli til en basket kurv.

Det engasjerer meg når jeg ser at barn blir glad for de små tingene i livet.

Det engasjerer meg når vi mennesker velger å bruke tiden vår på mennesker som trenger det.

Det engasjerer meg når vi gjør en forskjell.

Jeg vet ikke, jeg, men UDI har sine regler å følge. regler som sender mennesker til deres hjemland selv om de har skuddsår. Disse reglene kan du være for eller imot, det er opp til deg. Du er ikke rasist selv om du er for strenge regler, bare så det er sagt.

Men i Europa i dag er det 5-8 millioner mennesker som lever uten papirer.

Jeg vet at du sikker har blitt irritert over kassedamen som snakker gebrokkent norsk.

kanskje du ikke har tatt deg tiden til å bli kjent med vaskehjelpen på kontoret. Det er greit men jeg håper at du tar deg tid og tenker på hva disse menneskene har ofret, hva de har forlat, og hva de har risikert bare for å få lov til å tømme søppelkassen din.
